Mildura Rip-n-Tear 2020

Recently RDC attended the annual Rip-n-Tear competition up in Mildura. It was a very successful competition for the club with a total of 23 medals and 2 divers newly qualifying for the Australian Age Championships.

RDC also had a number of divers compete in their first ever national qualifying event, which was even more impressive due to the fact that it is an outdoor pool.

Since the 3 meters were sadly out of commission, competition finished earlier than usual which meant there was lots of down time. The coaches decided that this would be a perfect opportunity for some team bonding and on Saturday it was time for mini golf and one of the biggest games of Uno Mildura has ever seen.

RDC would like to congratulate all the competitors and especially thank Ross & Jenny Bennett for coming all the way up to Mildura to judge over the two days despite not having either of their wonderful divers compete.
