RDC Club Competition for all RDC Divers.
Start time: 8.30am - Warm up from 8.00am. All divers are required at the pool at 8.00am.
No exact event starting or finishing times can be given as it may change on the day. Make sure you arrive at 8.00am as events may be re-arranged and combined to streamline the day.
Entries close 7.00 pm Friday 13th June
ENTRY FEES: One event $15.00
Two events $30.00
Three events $45.00
Four events $55.00
Five Events $60.00
NO COACHING FEE FOR THIS COMPETITION.
FREE pool entry to all divers and spectators.
DIVE SHEETS DUE BY 7.00PM FRIDAY 20TH JUNE 2008
Dive sheets should be placed in the drawer marked “CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS DIVE SHEETS” located on the trolley on pool deck. Or can be emailed to admin@ringwooddivingclub.com.au by the due date.
No late dive sheets and entries will be accepted.
NO CHANGES TO DIVE SHEETS WILL BE ACCEPTED ON THE DAY.
All term fees, coaching fees or monies owing to the club must be fully up to date to enter Club Championships and be eligible for club trophies.
In all Springboard events, dives may be attempted from the one OR three metre boards.
AGES FOR ALL EVENTS ARE TAKEN AS AT 31st DECEMBER 2008
*Novice Events: ONLY for divers who have started since 1st July 2007 and who have not competed in a VDA event. It is possible to enter both Novice and Age Group events.
Masters: Senior divers who do not have a full list of dives.
**Novice Masters: for divers who have started since 1st July 2007 and who have not competed in a VDA event. It is possible to enter both Novice and Age Group events.
Open Criteria: To be eligible for Club “Open” Perpetual Trophies, you must have the DD shown below and each dive must be from a different group.
Divers who don't quite have the Open DD requirements may still compete on the day, but will not be eligible for Open Perpetual Awards.
All divers are invited to participate in a 5 minute dive display where all divers jump and dive off all boards to music. All divers from novice through to advanced are encouraged to join in.
Club Polo Tops are compulsory and must be worn at all line ups and presentations. See Sabrina Pozzobon to order uniforms@ringwooddivingclub.com.au
All divers, when not participating are encouraged to sit in the stand and support their fellow divers.
Only divers in the next event are permitted on the dryland equipment to warm up.
Parent help is required for things such as cooking sausages, handing out dive sheets, calling out numbers on “table” etc. You may be approached on the day to lend a hand when your child is not participating. For those interested in helping on “table” on the day, there will be an information session conducted at the pool in the coming weeks, watch the web site and your email for more information.
