Tony Fullard nominated for Citizen of the Year Award from Maroondah City Council

Tony Fullard, Vice President of RDC, has been nominated as Citizen of the Year at the Maroondah City Council 2012 Australia Day Awards. Tony's nomination reflected the huge amount of work put over the last ten years in his involvement with the Ringwood Diving Club.
It was great for Tony's efforts being acknowledged by the Mayor, and Councillors and the wide Maroondah's community at a ceremony at Ringwood Lake on Australia Day.
Even though, Tony did not win the overall award, it was a fantastic effort on making the list.
Tony was presented with a certificate of acknowledgement by the Mayor, Cr Rob Steane.
Tony, on behalf from all of us at RDC, congratulations.

The 2012 Rip N Tear in Mildura has been a great success for the RDC's team.

Tamara Barton, Rachel Theofanides, Jessie McDermott, Kiandra Gosling,  Rachel and Emily Foord and Lauren and Madison Arnold competed on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 January.

There are some changes to the Timetable, please check to see if they apply to your regular class.

Hi all, and welcome back to the holiday clinics for January 2012.
We hope you are all refreshed and ready to start a new year of diving!  Your coaches have been preparing pre-season training schedules and activities for you to get ready to dive again.
We look forward to get you back and 'Take the Plunge' with us at RDC! If you have not already registered for your summer clinics, please click here, you still have time!

RDC is now in holiday mode, we are taking a break. All our divers, coaches and parents and friends are enjoying a well deserved break. Programs will start again, with the holiday clinics, on Monday 9 January 2012.
On behalf of the Committee of the Ringwood Diving Club, I thank you for your support throughout the year and we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Remember if you 'Drink and Dive you are a bloody....' be safe.

classes will continue as normal at the  Ringwood Pool and
RDC has introduced new classes for Development and Beitzel squads at the Wheelers Hill Pool (Caulfield Grammar School).

Wheelers Hill Pool News

From Terrm 3-2011 RDC is introducing classes at the Wheelers Hill pool, at the Caulfield Grammar School Campus in Wheelers Hill, at 74 Jells Road, Wheelers Hill. Come and join in the fun in the new pool! The classes on offer are for Dive School (Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced) and for Beitzel Squad too! This is the initial timetable for Term 2 at Wheelers Hill (WH): Term 3 - 2011 Dive School Wednesday - 4.30 to 5.15 pm - Beginners Wednesday - 5.15 to 6.00 pm - Intermediate Wednesday - 5.15 to 6.00 pm. Registration now open for Term 3.
